Our goals are simple. We hope to encourage Christian development and growth. God speaks to us in many ways. He may speak in a still, quiet voice, but he does not yell at us or force us to come to Him. He steadily knocks on the doors of our hearts. Once we answer the knock, there is no closing the door.
What we believe ....
The Bible is the infallible, inerrant, and inspired word of God. All Scripture is God-breathed...(1 Timothy 3:16)
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He took on the nature of both God and man. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (John 1:1,14)
Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14)
Jesus identifies completely with mankind, but yet, is without sin. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:18); ...a lamb without blemish or defect (1 Peter 1:19)
He honored God by His personal obedience and in His death on the cross he redeemed man of sin. After His death He was raised from the dead and appeared to His disciples as the Jesus that He was before crucifixion. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. Believers anticipate Jesus' return and his victory over Satan.
But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, because by one sacrifice he had made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (Hebrews 10:12-13)
Salvation is offered to all who freely accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
